2010

Wow. 2010.
And just when I got used to saying "0-__"

I must say, I'm not sad to see 2009 go.
It was a tough year in many ways.
An emotional year.

*We moved to Montana and tried to start a church
*We were abandoned by the "friends" we thought we had there
*We started Glacier Babies - which is still active - but had to let it go
*We struggled to know what it was that God was asking us to do
*We became pregnant with our 4th child!!
*We moved to Seattle so Steve could attend MHGS
*We have made a few new friends, but mostly feel isolated
*We still struggle to know what God is asking us to do

But amidst the emotional turmoil we continue to face,
we look forward to 2010 with hope.

*We await the arrival of our 4th child any day now
*We have hope that our time at MHGS will lead us somewhere good
*We find ourselves more willing to go anywhere and do anything
*We pray that God will continue to set our hearts on fire for Africa
*We know that for this year and 2011, we will remain in Seattle
*We hope that we will know more clearly what God is asking us to do

And so, we will let the days and weeks and months unfold...
and trust our loving heavenly Father to meet us in this new year.
We pray that our love for each other will deepen and our passion for the things of God to ignite.
