Finding out about the ONE thing

That's what Steve preached on this morning.
And it was AWESOME!
Really - and I'm not just the proud wife.
He did a great job and God spoke thru him.

He talked about the 3rd part of our mission statement ...
Build Faith, Grow Hope, Live Love
And he nailed it!

We've had an interesting development take place.
Flathead Calvary Chapel just fired their pastor.
We're friends with Jan, who attends the church.
She emailed Steve on Jan 7th to see if he'd be interested in the position.
Then Steve met with Jan and her husband, Lisle, on Jan 10th.
On Jan 14th - Steve went to their mid-week meeting to talk to the leadership.
Today, Jan 18th, he spoke at church.
Next, the leadership wants to meet with both Steve and I.

We don't know where this will go.
It's a small church of about 20 adults.
But they are committed to each other -
some have been in that church for 13 years!

They are a Calvary Chapel.
We are planting an Evangelical Free.
They are called Flathead Calvary Chapel.
We are called Enoch Hills Church.

There are lots of details that would need to be ironed out.
But we might be merging the two into one ... somehow.

It's been an encouragement ... to say the least.
