We needed a change. So, this week, we've done school a bit differently.
On Monday, we went to The Farm Pumpkin Patch.
On Tuesday, we went shopping for costumes for a birthday party.
Landon is going to be a lumberjack.
Shiloh is going to be Pippi Longstocking.
On Wednesday, we worked on History Pockets.
I love Evan-Moor's Pockets.
And the kids love the hands-on, craft learning.
Landon is working on Ancient History Pockets this year.
Shiloh is working on Literature Pockets: Caldecot Winners.
On Thursday, we had a picnic with a friend and started working on making costumes. Yes, we are making a wig for Shiloh. Pictures to come ... the party is tomorrow.
Today, Friday, was co-op.
Tonight is popcorn movie night, complete with the 1st disc of season 1 of Little House on the Prairie.
It's been a fun week.

I love the flexibility that homeschooling offers. Sometimes we just need to alter course or "spice" things up a bit to keep learning fun! Good job.
