Steve was offered a job with ADT security!
It's a sales position - selling security systems to businesses.
Some of the perks -
**base pay for the 1st year + car allowance + cell phone allowance + commission
**full health benefits with Aetna after 30 days
**hours are business hours! No Sundays! and only one Saturday morning a month! (This is a HUGE change from him having to work weekends at Starbucks for the past 3 1/2 years!)
**And he'll be home in the evening for dinner (instead of a closing shift at Starbucks)
**The office is only 10 minutes away (considering how big Seattle is, that's a huge perk!)
**And he will not have to travel outside of the Seattle area!
He starts in June!
So awesome for us!
It also means we can afford to move into a house! YIPEE!

Congrats! I hope the job goes well for Steve. We'll be in Seattle June 23 - 26. Can we plan on seeing you guys one of those evenings? Do you have the same cell phone #?
