So, the plan was to go camping and go to the fair. Landon's been wanting to "have a fair" for his birthday since seeing a fair on the video "Boz" many months ago. We looked for a campground close to a fair, but our only fair choices were Spokane, WA - 5 hours away. Or Puyallup, near Tacoma - 1 1/2 hours away. We chose the closer distance, but could not find a place to camp.
SO ... we used our points from our credit card to splurge and get a FREE night at the Marriott! It had an indoor pool, so the kids were thrilled. When we awoke this morning, it was a perfectly cloudless day and we were off to the fair to enjoy 5 blissfull hours walking around, riding rides, eating junk food and enjoying a 75 degree day. Happy kids. And one VERY happy boy!
