My mind has been racing lately.
Between reading the Gospels ... and Kay Warren's book, which has really done a work on me ... much like Shane Claiborne's book did last year. I've been forced to take a long, hard look at my value system and priorities. It's brought up thoughts like "Are we on the right path?" and "Are we doing what GOD wants us to be doing?" I really can't elaborate much more than that at this time, but God is doing some radical stuff in my heart.
It's also brought Steve and I closer and has caused us to take a long, deep look inside. We have grown in leaps and bounds because of this move to ABQ. The desert of New Mexico has indeed proven to be a spiritual desert for us ... which has caused us to press more firmly into our loving Father. He has met us here in a unique way ... and it seems that He's just getting started!
We are excited about the things God is doing in our relationship with Him, in our hearts and in our marriage. From the "promised land" of Montana ... to the dry, brown desert ... just to get us to draw closer to Him and hear His heartbeat.
... ABQ is proving to be a monumental time in our lives ... go figure!!!

Glad to hear your hearts are being drawn to Jesus and each other. It will be good to hear what God does with this season. Wish it was easier for you. Glad God is faithful in the midst of it.
